(SCROLL DOWN FURTHER FOR MAP & DIRECTIONS)

ADMISSION: $10.00 per ADULT*

*FREE ADMISSION FOR CHILDREN 11 YEARS OLD & UNDER.
*VETERANS ADMISSION: HALF PRICE ($5 / CASH AT DOOR ONLY)
*PLEASE CONTACT US FOR DISCOUNTED EDUCATIONAL GROUP RATES.

PLEASE NOTE: Admission fee covers your access to the full days’ presentations, performances, films, cooking demos and offerings - and access to the incredibly fun vendor hall full of delicious foods, amazing companies and inspiring organizations! You can come and go all day, just keep on your festival wristband and show it at the door. We’ve worked hard to keep admission as low as possible (cheaper than a movie ticket). And meanwhile, this event raises crucial funds for the animal rescue and advocacy of The Institute for Animal Happiness! Any of the vendor offerings (foods, products, etc.) are charged for by each vendor themselves, separately. Many vendors do offer free tasting samples, though!

DAY ONE:
SATURDAY OCTOBER 19TH, 11 AM - 8 PM**

A day of inspiring presentations, music, art, take in a film in the San Severia, and 70+ vendors bringing their vegan best! Enjoy food, music, life-changing information, and meet some pretty awesome people working for a better world for all beings.
**THE KINGSTON ANIMALIA Arts Uprising runs throughout the weekend (visuals and music interspersed with other HV Vegfest stage offerings) but culminates with an all music-and-poetry line-up on Saturday evening from 5 - 8 pm. You can come and go during the day, and if you do, we sincerely hope you will be sure to return for the evening concert. Your wristband will get you back in at no extra charge. For those who can’t make it during the day, you can of course attend the evening concert on its own, and there will still be vendors on site (and FOOD, hopefully - unless vendors sell out!)

DAY TWO:
SUNDAY OCTOBER 20TH, 12 PM - 5 PM

Another big day of 70+ vendors and inspiring presentations! Come grab coffee or a brunch cocktail while taking in the inspiring educational offerings, a film in the San Severia bar, and stroll the vendor floor tasting yummy treats and learning how to save the world. All the same amazing vendors plus a few extra joining us just for Sunday.

Important note about dogs:

Our venue is able to accommodate well-behaved, calm canine visitors! But please note: a festival can be a crowded and stressful place for non-humans and we encourage you to leave them at home where it is peaceful. If that is not possible, please do not leave dogs in your cars! They are welcome inside the venue but you are solely responsible for them, cleaning up after them, and making sure they are in your watchful care at all times.

Festival Venue: BSP KINGSTON

Address: 323 Wall STREET
                Kingston, NY 12401

Website:  http://bspkingston.com/

Phone:     845-481-5158

The festival will take over the entire BSP space - the front lounge and the huge, 15,000 square foot warehouse-style theater in the back. See DIRECTIONS AND PARKING MAP below, for more details.

The venue is wheelchair accessible, but parking on the immediate streets is very limited. There is some specially-designated handicapped parking in the lots on North Front Street and some street spaces as well; if those are not available, but hope that a friend/family member in a wheelchair can be dropped off at the venue itself, while friends/family park the vehicle in one of the other nearby lots (see map below).

Directions & PARKING:

FOR NYC attendees and those Traveling to KINGSTON via PINE HILL/ADIRONDACK TRAILWAYS:

Traveling BY CAR:

PARKING:

See Map to the right. Some of these lots are paid (metered) public/municipal parking lots. We most recommend the lot at Fair Street and Schwenk Drive. It is down a small hill (there are also stairs at the rear of the lot up to the street, and the electronic meter is there as well). You may want to drop persons in wheelchairs or with mobility issues off at the venue first due to the incline/stairs, and then park. You can download the Woosh! app to pay easily and it is $1/hour (or bring quarters! But the app is helpful if you decide to linger at the festival or in Kingston. Simply put more on your meter via the app).

Lodging:

PLEASE NOTE: It definitely pays to plan early and we recommend booking your accommodations as soon as you can!!! The festival takes place in prime Autumn leaf season. Here are some favorite vegan spots. Not all are necessarily close to the venue, so refer to local hotel/motel/B&B listings as well!

  • THE HUNGRY GHOST - We love this Vegan B&B in New Paltz! Very accessible to venue.

  • RED ROBIN SONG GUESTHOUSE - All Vegan B&B in East Chatham! (Not close to venue, but if you are making this a weekend vacation, this place is also a sanctuary for rescued animals. They specialize in rehabbing and giving haven to Beavers!)

  • More listings to come!
